Scan the World uses advanced 3D scanning technologies to create
detailed, interactive models of human specimens and dissection
surgeries in collaboration with the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
These models can be easily shared with students through QR codes in
lecture slides, allowing them to explore intricate biological systems
in 3D—far beyond the limitations of traditional 2D images.
Our platform also enables annotations that stay attached to the
model's surface, making it easy to highlight key features with text,
images, or links. Instructors can set custom camera angles to guide
students through complex structures or surgical demonstrations,
enhancing understanding and visualization.
With Scan the World, medical education becomes more dynamic,
interactive, and accessible.
